Lloyd Russell Crowder: Obituary

Lloyd Russell Crowder, age 48, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on April 27, 2018 in Chattanooga, TN. He was the son of the late Dora Mae Cole Crowder. Mr. Crowder was raised in the Church of God of Prophecy faith. He was avid NASCAR and Tennessee Volunteer Fan. However, he really enjoyed raising chickens and fishing. Russell had worked at Inner Dimensions as a Quality Control Manager.

Survivors include, his wife of 24 years, Cindy Parris Crowder, two children, Rusty Crowder and Brooke Crowder; father, T.J. Crowder; brothers, Richard Crowder and Chris (Michelle) Crowder; half brothers, Thomas (Amanda) Crowder, Andy (Kelly) Crowder and Ryan Crowder; half sister, Erica Crowder; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Sue Parris; brothers-in-law, Sam (Amy)Parris and Trig (Cynthia) Parris; nieces and nephews, Kadee Parris, Haley Parris Uhlik, Jacob Parris, Amanda Ryan, Iris Crowder, Ashtyn Crowder, Hunter Crowder, Avery Crowder, Drew Crowder, Jacie Crowder and Matthew Crowder.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Pickelsimer and Rev. Michael Collis officiating. Music will be provided by Benny Pickelsimer. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill, TN with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dennis Whitener, Junior Whitener, Sam Parris, Trig Parris, Chris Crowder and Jacob Parris.
