Adam Wesley Barnett: Obituary

Adam Wesley Barnett, age 18 of McCaysville passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born on March 22, 2000 in Cleveland, TN. Adam attended the Church of God of Prophecy. He was a student at Copper Basin High School.

He is survived by mother, Karen Deal (Barron) of McCaysville, GA; father, Nathon Barnett of Murphy, NC; brother, Wesley Cearley (Hannah) of Copperhill, TN; sister, Kayla Powell (Calvin) of Reliance, TN; paternal grandparents, Rex Barnett (Pat) of Blairsville, GA, Mark Allen (Monica) of Murphy, NC; maternal grandparents, Howard Lynn (Clara) of Turtletown, TN; maternal grandmother, Novella Lynn of Ducktown, TN; paternal great-grandfather, Ray Dockery of Murphy, NC, Roy Barnett and the late Juanita of Andrews, NC and paternal great-grandmother, Gladys Davis of Murphy, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Aud Brown and Pastor Barry Lee officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Tompkins, Tyler Gibson, Cole Burkett, Byron Barnett, Dylan Walls, Jan Barnett and Richard Crowder.
