| McCaysville Visitor Center has Ribbon Cutting and Open House The McCaysville Visitor Center is a partnership of the Chamber, the City of McCaysville and the Ducktown Basin Museum. If you haven’t had a chance to visit, winter hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdayfrom 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The Center is located at 53 East Market Street. Many thanks to all who worked hard to make the center a reality, especially Mayor Tom Seabolt, Sue Beavers, Rodney Patterson and the McCaysville City Council; Marilyn MacNeil and Zachary Welch; Ken Rush and the board of the Ducktown Basin Museum; Mike Galinski and McCaysville Properties; the Fannin County Master Gardeners, especially Kathleen Holt; Trout Unlimited; People’s Bank and the Chamber staff. |
