Mr. Steve Wayne Mull: Obituary

Steve Wayne Mull, age 68, of Epworth, GA, passed away on August 9, 2017 at his home. Born in McCaysville, GA he was the son of the late Wayne and Kathleen Anderson Mull. Mr. Mull was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Kingtown Baptist Church. He worked and retired as a Boilermaker. He was a member of Local #454 Brotherhood of Boilermakers.

Survivors include his wife, Rene Mull of the home; two sons, Steve Wayne Mull, Jr. and William “Bill” Mull and wife Rachael all of Blue Ridge, GA; step son, Josh Lane of Copperhill, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Donaldson of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Brook Mull, Kylee Rene Mull and Oliver Lee Mull.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matthew McDaniel and Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music was provided by Kelly Stewart and Kim Mull. Interment followed in the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Steve Mull, Jr., Bill Mull, Josh Lane, Mike Sosbee, Andy Whitener and Matthew Dilbeck. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Bob Burns, Junior Williamson, Roger Brannon, and Paul Stepp. Full military honors were provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Boilermakers Flower Fund c/o Copper Basin Federal Credit Union. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
