Mrs. Carolyn Lynda Allen: Obituary

Carolyn Lynda Allen, age 72, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on July 11, 2017. Born in Blue Ridge, GA, she was the daughter of the late Sanford Edward Miller and Loretta Nell Green Miller. She was loving wife, mother and friend to many. She was a member and assistant pastor with the Freedom Fellowship Church. Mrs. Allen was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Allen, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Roger Allen, Sr.; son, Jason Sloan Allen; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya R. and Denny Cook; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Charles and Faye Miller and Eddie and Phyllis Miller; sisters and two brothers-in-laws, Pat Davis, Marilyn Cook, Charlotte and Chuck Riehle, and Deb and Roger Dalton; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother William Ashe officiating. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Jason Allen, Kevin Franklin, Scott Rose, Glenn Dilbeck, Jacob Dilbeck, Roger Dalton, Matthew Johnson, Anthony Sandelier, Matthew Dilbeck, Chad Stephens, David Miller and James Miller.
