Fannin County Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for an After School Program Coordinator. This is a Contracted position that will be negotiated annually. Applicants must have an Education Degree and/or extensive experience in managing a Daycare or After School Program. Work hours during the school year will be 10am-7pm. Applicants will also Coordinate the Summer Day camp program which takes place during June & July each summer. Work hours during Summer Camp will be 7:30am -4:30pm. Job Duties:

 Plan daily activities & provide tutoring for students kindergarten through 5th grade.

 Attend & complete annual training for “Bright from the Start” food program.

 Attend & complete annual Director’s training (1 week).

 Procure registrations & required paperwork for each program.

 Update social media sites as necessary.

 Maintain a safe environment at all times for students

 Manage part-time staff that will assist with the programs.

 Work with the Recreation Director to maintain the budget of each program.

 Ensure that all required “State” paperwork requirements are complete & maintained each

year.

 Maintain a positive relationship with all students & parents.
