Mary Ruth Nichols: Obituary

Mary Ruth Nichols, age 84 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Eutis, FL. Mrs. Nichols was born September 9, 1932 in Epworth, GA to the late Wilford Nichols and late Amanda Turner Nichols. A member of Memorial Lighthouse Baptist Church in Stone Mounntain, GA. She was preceded in death by her sisters; June Wehunt, Callie McDaniel, Jean Esposito, Audrey Holden, Beulah Dockery, and brothers, Harold Nichols and Paul Nichols.

Survivors include: several nieces and nephews, cousins and Care Givers, Eddie & Sandra McDaniel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 1:00pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Baugh and Rev. Hugh Grimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include, Ray Grimmer, Jeff McDaniel, Bill Kiker, Phil Williamson, William Dockery, Hoyt Puckett, Donald Garland and Johnny Holden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason McDaniel, Shannon McDaniel and Scott Grimmer.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 12:00-1:00pm
