Aleen Mull: Obituary

Aleen Mull, age 89 of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Pruitt Healthcare. Ms. Mull was born January 15, 1928, in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late William Thomas “Boss” Mull and the late Ethel Agnes Robinson. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and retired after 32 years in retail sales. Ms. Mull was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan, loved her family and was a supporter of her family. She was preceded in death by father; William Thomas “Boss” Mull; mother; Ethel Agnes Mull, brothers; Edgar Mull, Ralph Mull, Wayne Mull, Dan Mull, Joe Mull, Fred Mull, W.T. Mull, Dennis Lee Mull, sisters, Caterine Mull, Ruby Clore, and Elaine Gayler.

Survivors include: daughter; Sue Ann (Peter) Stalgis, son; Tommy (Carol) Sharp, son; Johnny (Brenda) Scearce, son; Mike (Yevette) Scearce, grandchildren, Stephanie Scearce, Bruce (Sharon) Tucker, Jason (Sarah) Tucker, Tisha (Rob) Serpa, Tammy (Guy) Sorgey, Dylan (Robin) Sharp, Ashlee (Ross) Godfrey, Shawn (Megan) Scearce, Chad (Jenna) Scearce, great-grandchildren; Isaiah Sharp, Hailey Bramlett, Kaden Sharp, Brelynn Sharp, Weston Godfrey, Tish and Amber Jorgensen, Christopher Smith, Robbie Stepp, Devin & Erycka Tucker, Cole Tucker, Whitney Taylor, eight great, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Renny Ryder and Rev. Scott Graves officiating. Music provided by Kelly Mull Stewart. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Dylan Sharp, Chad Scearce, Shawn Scearce, Ross Godfrey, Steve Mull, Jr., and Bill Mull. Honorary pallbearers: Stephanie Scearce, Bruce Tucker, Ashley Godfrey, Tisa Serpa, Tammy Sorgey, and Jason Tucker.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
