Roger Robert Rymer age 47 of McCaysville passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Hamilton Medical Center. Roger was born on June 13, 1969 in Copperhill, TN. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Roger enjoyed hunting and all racing sports. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Garrett Rymer.

Survivors are his mother, Annie Ruth Allen Rymer of McCaysville; brothers, James Rymer (Vickey) of McCaysville, Richard Rymer (Melinda)of Epworth and Eugene Rymer (Tina Ledford)of McCaysville; niece, Melanie Rymer (Justin Hornsby), nephew, Wade Rymer, niece, Miranda Rymer Stuart (David) and nephew, Anthony Rymer (Sheena)and great nieces and nephews, Zeke Hornsby, Brantley Stuart and Ronie Rymer.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ed O’Neal and Rev. John Newton officiating. Music was by Kenny O’Neal and Jeff Payne. Pallbearers were Wade Rymer, Anthony Rymer, Harold Allen, Jeff Payne, Waylon O’Neal and Marvin Allen. Honorary Pallbearers were Jo Jo Mathis, Jason Deal, Wesley Jones, Lucas Burk, John Acuff, Jason Loudermilk, Drew Deaver and Van Rymer. Interment followed in the Patterson Cemetery.
