Margaret Ann “Midge” Stone, age 57 of Turtletown, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Mrs. Stone was born November 4, 1959 in Fannin County, Ga to the late William Carl Cearley and the late Billie Jean Stuart Cearley. She was a member of Mine City Baptist Church, where she was very involved with church activities. Ms. Stone worked at Copper Basin Elementary School where she enjoyed working with children and being involved with sports and school activities. She enjoyed life and doing arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Hubert “Tub” Stone.
Survivors include: husband of 33 years, Mark Stone, son and daughter in law, Travis and Kristen Stone, son, Trevor Stone, mother-in-law, Eva Jean Stone, sisters, Patsy Jean Payne and Frances Lynn Pelfrey, brother, Ron Cearley, friends, Diane Meek and Mama Di, expected granddaughter, Millie Jean Stone, Nieces And Nephews.
Funeral services: Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill with the Rev. Keith Smith and Rev. Mark Carr officiating. Music provided by: Chad Smith. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah, TN, Friday Morning at 10:00AM . Pallbearers: Terry Stuart, Kenny Stuart, Todd Rich, David White, Brian Satterfield and Russ Meek. Honorary pallbearers: Colby White.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill Thursday, January 12, 2017, 3:00 pm – 5:00 PM and 6:00 pm – 8:00 PM.
