Mr. Clifford Lee Arp: Obituary

Clifford Lee Arp, age 85, of Ducktown, TN passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016. Mr. Arp was born in the Martins Creek area of Cherokee County, NC to the late Will and Delia Chastain Arp. He was a member of the Living Church of God and a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S.Army. He was retired from the Tennessee Copper Company where he had worked in the Acid Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Arp and sister, Gladys Fortner.

He is survived by sons, Rick Arp and Danny Arp, both of Ducktown, TN; brother, James Fortner; five grandchildren; many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Pastor Martin Fannin and Elder Travis Nicholson officiating. Music will be by Mark Nicholson. Pallbearers include Allen Ritchie, Jeff Emig, David Emig and Mark Nicholson. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
