Fannin County High School FFA members attended Career Development Competitions on September 27 at Cass High School in Cartersville. The junior Meats Evaluation team made up of Kayla Hipp, Shelby Postell, Brooke Crowder, and Alexis Ware received a silver emblem placing 8th out of 20 teams and Brook Crowder placed 14 out of 53 individual contestants. The senior level meats evaluation team made up of Tayelor Long. Shayelyn Millsaps, and Andrew Born received a bronze emblem.
The junior division Environmental Natural resources team made up of Andrew Seitz, Madison Mitchum, Brittany Norton, and Trevor Couch placed 7th and earned a silver emblem. Andrew Seitz placed 11 out of 53 individually. The senior division team made up of Zachary Franklin, Jesse Patterson, Dakota Burk, and Asher Patterson placed 5th and earned a gold emblem, Jesse Patterson placed 13th out of 63 contestants individually.
