Patricia “Patsy” Carman Galbraith, age 70, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born on July 25, 1946 in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Roland Carman and Ina Christine Howell Carman. She worked as a Title Closer for Angela Stewart Delorme, Attorney At Law. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of West Palm Beach, FL. She loved helping others and was “Mom” to everyone. She married her high school sweetheart, William Braisted Galbraith II, who passed away on September 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, John Carman; and son-in-law, Ted Gregory.
She is survived by daughters, April Galbraith of West Palm Beach, Tanya Gregory of Mineral Bluff, and Theresa Cook and husband William of Rockmart, GA; granddaughter, Jacqueline Gregory; and sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Jane “D.J.” and Chuck Gravelin, of West Palm Beach.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge. Rev. Darvin Couch will officiate. Music will be provided by Rachel Cowart. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Greg Junnier, Troy Junnier, William Cook, Bill Peterson, and Paul Anderson will serve as pallbearers. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
