Mrs. Regina Green Harper: Obituary

Mrs. Regina Green Harper, age 91 of McCaysville, passed away November 5th at the Wellstar Tranquility Rest Home in Kennesaw, GA. Mrs. Harper was born February 25, 1925 in McCaysville, GA to the late George Newt and Emma Walker Green. She was a member of the Church of God faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Red” Harper, son, Lamar Harper, grandson, Chris Maney, sisters, Juainta Seabolt and Genivia Wise, and brothers, Sylvan Green and Ishmal Green. Regina loved to read her Bible, gardening, music, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include: daughter, Sherry Harper, grandson, Jeremy (Shelley) Maney, granddaughter, Lindsay Harper and great granddaughters, Jaclyn and Anna Kate Maney.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Randy Maney, Dan Lohr, Dennis Harmon, Johnny Kyle, Robert Taylor, Chad Bowers and Bryan Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Moss, Andrew Moss, James Moss and Lee Moss.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Monday, November 7, 2016 from 6-9pm
