WFES ~ 4th Grade Social Studies Project

Mrs. Arp’s 4th grade social studies classes at West Fannin Elementary have been studying the Kwakiutl tribe of the Pacific Northwest. The Kwakiutl wrote myths to explain things that they saw in nature, and then carved totem poles to tell their stories. Our fourth graders wrote their own Kwakiutl myths and then designed totem poles to tell their stories. Bella and Alex wrote the “Legend of the Wolf.”
