James Fred Beavers, age 88 of Mc Caysville, passed away September 14, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Beavers was born January 29, 1928 in McCaysville, GA to the late Wiley Beavers and the late Minnie Patterson Beavers. A member of Mt. Liberty Baptist Church and employed at the TN Copper Company for many years before he retired. He was preceded in death by son, James Glenn Beavers, father, Wiley Beavers and mother, Minnie Beavers.
Survivors include: wife, Edna Beavers, daughter, Jeannie Ledford, daughter, Mary Patterson, brother, Charles Beavers, sister, Glenda Sue Ledford, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Deal officiating. Music provided by Ed Vest. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Larry Payne, Lynn Payne, Gerald Payne, Jimmy Payne, Jason Patterson & Jeff Beavers.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
