North Georgia Honor Guard Visits BRES

Fifth grade students Luke Davenport, Case Holloway, Jacob Gonzales, and Jude Martin participated in small group instruction of honoring and caring for the flag.  These students have the responsibility of raising and lowering the flag daily at Blue Ridge Elementary Sschool. Pictured are Veterans from The North Georgia Honor Guard: Greg Coffone, Richard Crosley, Keith Hunter, Dennis Rich , and Mrs. Thelma Coffone(Auxuillary). The entire fifth grade class participated in Flag Etiquette also under the direction of The Honor Guard and received colored certificates after listening to Mr. Rich’s presentation and passing a test.  Students and teachers both enjoyed the presentation and camaraderie the Veterans share.
