Mrs. Gloria Louise Polatty, age 66, of Blue Ridge passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1950, in Cherry Point, NC to the late Charles E. Bange and Gloria Jarman Bange. She served her country in the United States Air Force and later worked as a Logistics Engineer for Honeywell. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Polatty of the home; sons, John Cochran and Gary Cochran of Michigan, Nicholas J. Polatty of Middleburg, FL, and Daniel Polatty of Martinsburg, WV; daughter, Stephanie Fay Cochran of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Charles E. Bange of Tampa, FL; sisters, Ginger Carnes of Blue Ridge and Janet Mahler of Middleburg, FL; Grandchildren, Hope Polatty, Faith Polatty, Nolan Polatty, Cameron Polatty, Hayden Polatty, and several others.
Mrs. Polatty’s final wishes were to be cremated. No service has been planned at this time. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
