Mr. Hubert Don Newman: Obituary

Mr. Hubert Don Newman, age 49 of Blue Ridge, passed away June 3, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Newman was born December 18, 1966 in Irvine, KY to the late Hiram Delbert Newman and the late Cleona Turner Newman. He was a member of the Rehoboth Baptist Church in Grantville, Ga. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Dale Newman, Harold Delmer Newman, and Hargust Donald Newman. Hubert worked for many years as a mechanic and he enjoyed riding motorcycles when he was able. He also liked to buy and sell at flea markets and play video games.

Survivors include four brothers and four sisters, Doug (Alisa) Newman of Morganton, GA, David (Brenda) Newman of Milton, FL, Hiram Newman, Jr. of Marble, NC, Darrell (Rose) Newman of Winchester, KY, Sarah (John) Watkins of Winchester, KY, Sue Hardy of Irvine, KY, Sherry Daniels of Newnan, GA and Sandy Newman of Newnan, GA. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and special niece, Jaime Harper.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the funeral home from 4-6 pm.
