Mr. Michael Lynn O’Neal: Obituary

Michael Lynn O’Neal, age 55, of Epworth, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 20, 1961, in Copperhill, TN to Carl Henry and Helen Louise Mashburn O’Neal. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as an Iron Worker. He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise O’Neal.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Davey Ensley of Epworth; father, Carl O’Neal of Epworth; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Lamar and Janice O’Neal of Copperhill; sister, Juanette Callihan of Blue Ridge; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Jackie Housley of Epworth; grandchildren, Ellijah and River Ensley.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge with Rev. James Worley and Rev. Ed O’Neal officiating. Music will be provided by Heather Foresman, Craig O’Neal, Christine Rogers, and the Glen Hope Church Choir. Interment will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Matthew Callihan, Shannon Callihan, Eric O’Neal, Craig O’Neal, Guinn O’Neal, Barron Deal, Davey Ensley, and Mike Bowers. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home at the funeral home on Wednesday Evening from 6:00-9:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
