Mr. Willie Guinn Eller, age 87, of Turtletown, TN passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Willie was a son of the late Guy and Ethel Ledford Eller. He retired from commercial construction after fifty years as a Welder and Structural Iron Worker belonging to Local 387 in Atlanta, GA. He attended Fields of the Wood Church of God of Prophecy. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Goldman Eller, Boyd Eller and Dorothy Hamby, daughter-in-law Patricia Helton Eller and brothers-in-law, Willard Allen, Jess Hamby, Clifford Loudermilk and Rob Ledford.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty eight years, Georgia Mae Graves Eller of the home; children, Larry Eller of Murphy, NC, Phyllis (Frank) Beeam of Turtletown, TN, Rita (Ronnie) Ross of Cleveland, TN; Honorary daughters, Lora Wade and Doris Wise; brother, Guindle (Jeanne) Eller of Acworth, GA; sisters, Susie Loudermilk Ledford of Blairsville, GA, Willa Mae Allen, Shelby (David) Avery and Lorraine (Richard) Kilpatrick, all of Murphy, NC, Shirley (Owen) Hensley of Turtletown, TN; sister-in-law, Helen EllerGoldman of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Chris (Tammy) Eller, Chad Beeam, Eric (Lil) Eller, Mandy (Ray) Thomas, Kimberly (Shannon) Owensby, Brett (Lindsay) Ross; twelve great-grandchildren, Hallie, Katlynn & Storm Eller, Olivia, Aliyah & Zemery Beeam, Jeffrey, Mehgan & Miranda Eller, Treylyn, Cason & Jadon Owensby; great-great grandchild, Grayson Howe. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Reid. The following have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Ray Thomas, Shannon Owensby, Chad Beeam, Eric Eller, Jeffrey Eller, Brett Ross, Storm Eller and Treylyn Owensby. Larry Eller, Chris Eller, Frank Beeam and Ronnie Ross will serve as an honorary escort. Interment will follow in the Liberty cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Eller may be made to the Fields of the Wood Church of God of Prophecy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
