Marie Woody Announces Candidacy for Tax Commissioner

After much prayer and encouragement from friends and colleagues, I hereby announce my candidacy for the office of Fannin County Tax Commissioner.  I would appreciate your prayers and support in the Primary on May 24th, 2016.

As I sit and think about the amount of time until voting, approximately 60 days, I realize I will not have time to visit everyone.  I am asking my family and friends to get my name out to all your family and friends.

I have worked for Fannin County for the past 35 years.  My experience will be an asset to the office of Tax Commissioner.  I worked in the County Commissioner’s office for 20 years, and I have been the Department Head of the Land Development office for the past 15 years.  You will always find me friendly and helpful.  People refer others to me all the time. They say, “Go ask Marie; she will help you.  If anyone can find it, fix it, or solve it, Marie can.”

I ask for your prayers and your vote in the May 24th Primary.
