Anti-Bullying Day Held at FCHS

Fannin County High School in conjunction with the North Georgia Mountain Crisis Center, observed Anti-Bullying Day on Wednesday, February 24. Students and staff were asked to wear pink and sign the pledge to stop bullying during lunch and in turn they received a pink “Kindness One Size Fits All” bracelet from the Crisis Network. In conjunction with the event,  the FCHS “Sources of Strength” students distributed stickers for everyone to wear that said “Band against Bullying.”   During the students’ advisement session, an anti-bullying video was shown and teachers and students had the opportunity to discuss the need for both teenagers and adults to promote respect and tolerance while helping anyone who needs assistance.
