Kenneth “Kenny” James Jones: Obituary

Kenneth “Kenny” James Jones, age 57 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was born in Fannin County, GA on Saturday, September 6, 1958. Kenny was a home construction painter. He was of the Baptist Faith. Kenny was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn John Jones and a son, Derek James Jones.

Survivors are his mother, Martha Geneva Payne Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Garren Jones of Epworth, GA; daughter, Dana Jones of Epworth, GA; brother, Eddie Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Pam Beach (Randy)of Blue Ridge, GA also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Hedden officiating. Music will be by Randy Beach and April Hedden. Interment will follow in the Hipps Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Callian, Michael Beach, Randy Beach, Wayne Jones, Timmy Payne and Casey Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
