Judge Amanda Mercier Releases Statement

Judge Amanda Mercier released the following statement concerning her appointment to the State Court of Appeals.

“I am so proud to have had the opportunity to serve the citizens of Fannin, Pickens and Gilmer counties as a Superior Court Judge for the last five years. It has been one of my greatest joys to work with the wonderful people in the Appalachian Judicial Circuit and in my community. I am truly honored and humbled that Governor Deal has afforded me the opportunity to serve the entire state on the Court of Appeals, and I look forward to the work ahead.”
