Annie Marie Gober, age 45 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born on Saturday, June 20, 1970 in Turtletown, TN. Annie Marie was a truck driver with Covenant Transport. She volunteered with East Polk County Fire Department. Annie Marie was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Carol Bryant.
Survivors are son, Donovan Gober of Turtletown, TN; daughter, Nikki Gober of Chattanooga, TN; Nikki’s father, Eddie Gober of Dalton, GA; father, James Arthur Elrod of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Diane Elrod of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma Lee and Pete Walker of Turtletown, TN and Linda and Randle Jones of Cleveland, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. James Whaley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. I hate to hear about this Marie was a friend of mine in elementary school and we spent the night together at each others house as children do.... She was a sweet person I will always remember her... Thoughts and prayers go out to the family...
