FCHS Summary for 2015 Marching Festivals

Under the direction of Scott Barnstead and Drum Major Will Panter, the Fannin County High School March Band participated in both the Wolverine Classic held at West Forsyth High School on September 26^th and the Superbowl of Sound held at Central Carroll High School on October 3^rd.

At the Wolverine Classic, the FCHS band competed in Class AAAA and earned the following ratings:   Superior in Drum Major, Superior in Colorguard, Superior in Percussion, and Superior in Band.  Additionally, they were awarded 1^st place over all in Class AAAA for Drum Major and 3^rd place over all in Class AAAA for Percussion, Band, and Colorguard.

At the Superbowl of Sound, the FCHS band competed in Class AAA and earned the following ratings:  Superior in Drum Major, Superior in Colorguard, Superior in Percussion, and Superior in Band.  Additionally, they were awarded 1^st place over all in Class AAA for Drum Major, 2^nd place overall in Class AAA for Band, 3^rd place overall in Class AAA for Percussion, and 4^th place overall in Class AAA for Colorguard.

It takes long hours of practice and a commitment to excellence to be a member of this winning organization.  There is a tremendous work ethic and spirit among the students, staff, and parent volunteers that is demonstrated at each performance of the FCHS Marching Band.
