Mrs. Ruth Jeanette Bell, age 79, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Mrs. Bell was born in Polk County,TN to the late Joseph Edgar and Louisa Hall Duvall. She was retired from the Morganton Manufacturing Plant where she had worked as a Seamstress.
She is survived by sons, Terry (Brenda) Bell of Blue Ridge, GA, Dennis (Vickie) Bell of Gastonia, NC; brothers, Ray Duvall of Morganton, GA, Roy Duvall of Blue Ridge, GA, Max Duvall of Cleveland, TN, Morgan Duvall of Murphy, NC; sisters, Lounell Hampton of Florida, Doris Pelfrey of Chattanooga, TN and Marie Tarpley of Murphy, NC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 9th at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Minister Dennis Morris officiating. Pallbearers include Adam Mathis, Adam Weaver, Richard Tanner, Zack Ratcliff, Wesley Duvall and Paul Murphy. Interment will follow in the Temple Baptist Church cemetery in Cherokee County, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 9th, from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 4:00 p.m. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
