Obama’s Legacy

It’s not hard to see the consequences of weakness, indecision and political correctness when  the worlds only super power, the USA, falls into the hands of an ignorant “community organizer.”

Clearly, neither Obama nor anybody in his administration has any idea how to conduct foreign policy in Americas best interest. They are unable to respond forcefully and immediately to changes in world situations, or stamp out, with a deciding presence, the reckless adventurism of wanna be world powers like Iran. Obama can not guarantee the protection of even our friends.

Obama has all but looted our treasury and at the same time, unwittingly brought us to the very brink of another world war, very probably a nuclear one. The middle east is in chaos. Iran has been given the go ahead to acquire its own nuclear bomb if they don’t already have one, and Iraq, once fairly won and democratically organized after the ouster of Saddam Hussein, has, through Obama’s feckless policy of total and complete withdrawal, fallen into the hands of ISIS.

Even today, a Russian General is in Baghdad telling the US to cease its air operations, while negotiating the use of Iraq’s Taqaddum Air Base only forty-six miles west of Baghdad for the Russian Air Force. China’s only aircraft carrier now lies at anchor in Syria’s only seaport, supported by a protective guided missile cruiser. The aircraft to fill that ship are even now enroute, flying across Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syrian airspace, unchallenged by any US backed coalition force, to aid Assad. Russian naval infantry and Iranian kuds infantry troops are now bivouacked together on Syrian soil while Russian and Chinese fighter bombers attack US supported anti-Assad forces around Damascus.

While Obama was lavishly entertaining Chinese President Yi at a State Dinner, Yi, not once indicated he had a war ship traversing the Suez Canal headed into the Med. to support the Russians in Syria. When Obama was grimly shaking hands with Vladimir Putin a few days ago, not once did Putin indicate to Obama, that on the very next day he would commence air operations in support of Assad. Worse, never has Obama declare Iraqi airspace a no fly zone. He capitulated! Weakness invites aggression. I fear, as a world super power, we are undone.

What do we hear from Obama instead? The urgent need to seize American’s guns because some monster in Oregon murdered eight students who identified themselves as Christians. He touts the even more urgent need (in his mind) of recognizing the dangers of global warming and America’s moral obligation to stop it. He authorizes the entry onto our shores of thousands of alleged displaced Syrians, not one of them a Christian, and he has all but doomed the Israelis to a potential future of Islamic occupation and extinction. A return to the Levant will be complete.

I will grant that the old Soviet paper thin hull of China’s aircraft carrier could probably be easily penetrated by an Israeli torpedo, and that shooting down only one of Russia’s giant transport plane over Iraq could be easy enough, if done. But, I suspect it would immediately change the dynamic over there in our favor, at least until Obama can either be put out of office of out of his misery, whichever comes first, until we get a real President, not a phony one.

 

At the moment, Americans are preoccupied with the end of baseball season, the start of football, and soon, the basketball season, all while many are still looking for employment and trying to figure out if they should pay the rent over Obama’s heath care bills. I don’t really think we can wait. Do you? Remember, freedom is the goal, the constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (03 Oct 2015).
