Mrs. Betty Jean Strevel, age 69 of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday evening, August 30 at her home. Betty was born January 14, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Wilford and the late Louise Davidson Loudermilk. She was a member of Bethany Church of Epworth, GA.
She was a strong woman, very out going, optimist at heart. She never met a stranger. A very colorful dresser. She also ran the Kings Kids Ministries, which helped the children and the elderly.
She is survived by husband, David Strevel; son, G.W. Brong and his wife Karen, adopted son, James Goss and daughter-in-law, Doris; step daughters, Jennifer Cooper and Kathy Kitts. One Special friend, Elsie Burnett. She also has several grandchildren that survive.
A memorial service will be held at the Bethany Church in Epworth Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
