“For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James 2:10-13.O God, your law is given for the stability of life in our society. The fabric of our culture is woven around the Ten Commandments. If we break one of them it is as though we have shattered the unity of them all. In the keeping of the commandments we are able to live in harmony with you, ourselves, and others.
It is sobering to realize that we will be judged by the grace that we extend to others because of the grace you extended to us.
Bless this person who now prays these thoughts with good relationships with others. We pray in Jesus Name.
Amen
