Mountain Education Charter High School Celebrates Graduates

Rebel's Corner

Mountain Education graduated seventeen students May 28 at the Fannin High School’s Performing Arts Center – their largest graduating class. Two students graduated with the Presidential Certificate of Excellence with a GPA of 90 or higher and ten received the Presidential Certificate of Achievement with a GPA of 80 or higher. Students began the week celebrating with their parents at a graduation dinner hosted by MEC. Administrators, senior teachers, graduates and their parents enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Double LL Grill in Ellijay. Students who plan on pursuing college received scholarships from several local sponsors: The Terminator, Kevin Panter Insurance, Blue Ridge Adventure Wear, Ellijay Telephone Company, Fannin Rotary Club, Tri-State EMC, Blue Ridge Kiwanis, Morganton Order of the Eastern Star, and United Community Bank. These MEC graduating students have worked especially hard to achieve their diplomas and are ready for their next step in life. We wish them the best!
