Mr. Bruce Richard Wiggleston: Obituary

Mr. Bruce Richard Wiggleston, age 75, of Copperhill, TN passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Emory University Hospital. Mr. Wiggleston was born on January 8, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to the late Bruce Wiggleston and Barbara Faye Pedigo Wiggleston. Mr. Wiggleston worked as a heavy equipment operator, was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Ducktown Masonic Lodge #241 F&AM, and was in the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 917.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Newman Wiggleston of the home; son and daughter in law, Bruce R. Wiggleston, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Knoxville, TN; daughter and son in law, Teresa Wiggleston Byrd and husband Terry of Knoxville, TN; brother, Joe Wiggleston of Knoxville, TN; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Pedigo officiating. Music will be by Bruce Wiggleston, III, Summer Wiggleston, and Justin Taylor. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Bruce Wiggleston, III, Enoch Wiggleston, Dylan Byrd, Derrick Byrd, Dustin Byrd, and Hunter Queen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, May 4, 2015 after 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill is in charge of arrangements.
