Fannin County Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at the above address. Upon arrival firefighters found a single story with a basement residential structure 50-60% involved. Firefighters pulled a skid load and cross lay to begin extinguishing fire. Engine 13, Engine 3 and Tanker 2 provided water shuttle from a nearby creek. Fire was extinguished and all units returned to service. State and local investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.

19 firefighters responded to the fire. Red Cross was requested to assist the occupants of the house, and for rehab for the firefighters.
