It’s Time to Weed Out the Cowards…

GOP, save yourselves, the leadership has been taken over by self-serving, cowardly weaklings. Headlines: ”Boehner surrendered Tuesday to Democratic demands…”. Wash. Post, “Boehner caves, Pelosi triumphs…” Daily Kos.

What we are witnessing here behind the headlines is the desperate flailing of political bed fellows, long entrenched in the joint looting of the American treasury, trying desperately to cling to power. The GOP’s disintegration into what appears to be more than a simple family squabble is the beginning of the recovery, rather like a recovering alcoholic with DT’s.

What is happening is in fact good for the party, if America isn’t crushed first. It will ultimately end with the clearing out of the old assumptions that the elites have used to keep conservatives, i.e.: constitutional thinking Americans, from reconstituting our government the way it should have been all along. Our current situation proves the old adage that to remain free we must be constantly on our guard. We were not! We allowed a foreign philosophy to slowly usurp all of our freedoms. It’s taken the Left generations and, with the end in sight, they won’t back off now!

As we see the tea party battle lines forming against the GOP leadership, we know the pathway will be hard and fraught with dangers for the unwary congressman. But, difficult choices must be made and stands taken, lest we descend into a chaotic and unrecognizable form of new government, a fascist dictatorship. We’re almost there now and career politicians are the cause.

Essentially, ignoring the Constitution and the rule of law, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Schumer and company, have achieved a bloodless coup enacting their Communist Manifesto on America. As an added bonus Obama has managed to cause the base of the Republican party to become alienated from those who theoretically would lead them. Supposedly, the November 2014 landslide GOP election was to correct that problem with promises made, alas, by leaders who, despite those promises, have no intention of keeping them. We know this now.

The main problem for us out here in the heartland is that we recognize the conditions but the daily dose of outrage keeps coming at us faster than we can keep up. For six years we’ve hated Obama. For the next two years we will hate Hillary. In the meantime, we’re bickering over the candidacy of another Bush being pushed on us by GOP PAC’s, against the base’s will, yet they create polls telling us otherwise. We know he’s not our choice but, like all political schemes, “follow the money” to see the corruption between Business and the State. That is the present condition of our political bodies. We are in fact already a fascist country whether we know it or not. Mussolini stated it exactly: “The definition of fascism is the marriage of corporation and state.” Eisenhower also warned us: “Beware of the Military-Industrial Complex!”

Neither Boehner nor McConnell are going to be removed by a coup. The political looters will simply not permit it. A possible solution lies in well funded recall elections in their home district and state. That won’t be easy but would scare ‘em to death. But, the voters there should at least try. To understand real courage dwell again on Elizabeth Houston’s words to her son Sam. Remember freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (8 March 2015)
