Psalm 56:3 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee.”Our Merciful Father, in the security of your presence all of our fears are calmed. As You do receive us as a loving parent and comfort our tempest tossed minds, life takes on a different perspective. We ask for that same comfort just now that we have always found in You. Give us faith to believe that You are observing our daily lives and art protecting us with your guardian care. Stimulate our faith into action that we may walk as conquerors in the mighty power of Christ. The victorious Christian seems to be the exception rather than the normal pattern for your children. Grant us the depth of experience and the maturity of soul that we may overcome the fears that life hurls at us continually.
Help this person who seeks You now to look into the inner self and entrust all of the plaguing problems therein into your care. Give this one strength for every trial and blessings too numerous to count. We pray as You have taught us to pray: in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
