Mr. Russ Mosely: Obituary

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mr. Russ Mosely, age 71, of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Mosely was born in Macon, Georgia, on July 9, 1943, a son of the late Lawrence Felton Mosely and the late Myrtis Hamlin Mosely. He had been living in Blairsville since June of 2014, moving here from Thomasville, Georgia. Russ was a loving and generous person. He cherished the outdoors, flowers, and all the critters. Walking the beautiful mountains, exploring waterfalls, and identifying native plants of the Appalachians brought him such peace. He will be warmly remembered in every sunrise and sunset.

Russ is survived by his sisters, Beverly Mosely, and sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jim Deen, and family James and Thomas Deen.

The family wishes to thank all friends in the tri-state area for their kindness to Russ in the short period of his time in Blairsville.

A private ceremony will be held at a later time.
