Linda Lee Patterson, age 65, of McCaysville, GA passed away on February 15, 2015 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.Born in Phoenix, AZ, she was the daughter of the late Jerrell Thomas Lee and Claire Louise Bailey Lee. She received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing and had worked for Copper Basin Medical Center, Fannin Regional Hospital and was more known for her nursing in Home Health Care. She retired from Nursing from the Gracewood State School and Hospital. Mrs. Patterson had attended Mobile Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her husband of forty six years, Steve Patterson of the home; children and their spouses, Jeffrey Stephen and Lori Patterson, Jennifer Louise and Mike Bledsoe, Jamie Nicole Patterson and Sam Stillwell all of Copperhill, TN; sisters, Geraldine Mahon of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Tyler Nathaniel and Brittney Patterson, Taylor Daniele Bledsoe, Bailey-Sue Elizabeth Bledsoe, Isaac Baker Patterson, Thomas Reece Stillwell, Allen Ross Stillwell, Scott Alan Brunner, George Austin Brunner, Sara Michelle Brunner, Jason Henry Brunner, Camrey Bledsoe, Ashley Payne, Jayda Payne, and Ethan Payne; great grandchildren, Tristan Marquardt, Landon Lamar Jenkins and Easton Zane Patterson; niece and nephew, Darren and Wendy Mahon both of Phoenix, AZ; she was loved by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. from the Mobile Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew McDaniel and Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be by the Lantigua Family. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Sam Stillwell, Mike Bledsoe, David Patterson, Jim Patterson, Tyler Patterson, and Alan Brackett. Serving as an honorary escort will be: Ricky Peak, David Hyatt, Taylor Bledsoe, Bailey Bledsoe, Isaac Patterson, Reece Stillwell, and Ross Stillwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
