The Fannin County High School FFA Jr. Floriculture Team recently placed 15 in the Area 1 FFA Floriculture Career Development Event. The event was held at Gordon County College and Career Academy in Calhoun on November 11.
Team members Tayelor Long, Kelleigh Taylor, Jesse Patterson, and Cheyene Reynolds identified floriculture and bedding plant materials and identified ways to treat unhealthy plants due to pests, nutritional, mechanical or chemical injuries. Kelleigh Taylor placed 27 out of 81 in individual competition.
