FFA Team Places in State Competition

The Fannin County High School FFA Environmental Natural Resources Junior Division Career Development Event Team placed eighth in the state competition which was held at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College-ABAC in Tifton, Georgia on December 6.The team had placed second in the Area 1 competition that was held earlier in the year which qualified them for the state competition. Each team member had to complete a GPS practicum as well as an identification skill test that included wildlife skulls, scat, tracks, and hides; forestry equipment; forestry trees; non- native tree species; fish; and reptiles. Team members are Zachary Franklin, Dakota Burke, Asher Patterson, and Jesse Patterson.
