Daily Prayer: 12/23/2014

Psalm 107: 23,24 “They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; these see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep.”O Mighty God, Creator of the Heaven and the earth, your majesty is everywhere. We see your great works in the expanse of the ocean. The mysteries of the deep are all known to you. As the ships sail the ocean and are tossed by the waves and battered by the storms and then are safely guided into port, so are our lives tossed by the waves of adversity, and are blown by the storms of evil, and are led safely into the harbor of your love. Those who view your hand upon the Christian are caused to see your work.

May we be like those who go down to the sea in ships. May we see your work and wonder: through Christ our Lord,

Amen.
