Rhonda Kay Hughes, age 48 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at The Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN.She was born on Saturday, April 9, 1966 in Copperhill, TN to the late Robert C. “Bowser” Hughes and Glouretta Patterson Hughes. Rhonda had worked in Healthcare as a CNA. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors are sons, Joshua Cagney Hughes of Turtletown, TN and Maddox David Jarvis of Turtletown, TN; mother, Glouretta Patterson Hughes of Turtletown, TN; sister, Tammy Smith of Turtletown, TN; nephews, Ronnie Smith and Jeremy Smith of Turtletown, TN; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will conducted on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Pastor Terry Gladson officiating. Music will be by Raven Welch and Glen Hughes. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Collins, Chris Graham, Ronald Martin, Ronnie Smith, Jr., Jeremy Smith and David Hyatt. Memorial contributions may be made to help Defray Final Expenses. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:30 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
