Fannin County Chamber Holds Ribbon Cutting For Fresh n’ Frugal

The Fannin County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting today for Fresh ‘n Frugal today. The store is located at 4177 East First Street, Blue Ridge.The president and CEO Darrell Wiley, described the family business as a transparent operation. The “cost plus” format reflects the price after freight, labor, etc. Mr. Wiley thanked the operations support group and Chief Operating Officer, Lamar Jowers. Mr. Wiley noted that local products were sold in the store when possible.

Tim Williams, Director of store operations told FYN that 100% of all employees were retained from the previous store. He discussed the work which had been done in the store since it’s purchase by J&J on October 18th. The store is derived from J&J Foods (two stores in Gainesville) while another Fresh ‘n Frugal is located in Dahlonega.
