Mr. Zygmunt Joseph Pawlak: Obituary

Mr. Zygmunt Joseph Pawlak, age 67 of Suches, passed away November 14, 2014 in Blue Ridge, GA.Mr. Pawlak was born November 25, 1946 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Zygmunt Pawlak and the late Angeline Pawlak. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and worked for Lockheed Martin as a machinist until retirement. He lived in Acworth, GA before moving to Suches, GA. He was preceded in death by father, Zygmunt Pawlak and mother, Angeline Pawlak.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, hunting, fishing and shooting.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Pawlak, son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Becci) Pawlak, son, Ryan Pawlak, son, & daughter-in-law Steve (Amy) Jennings, sister, Lydia Mexcotte, sister, Diana Reynolds, Brother, Larry Pawlak, 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services: Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in O’ Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers are Ryan Pawlak, Kenneth Pawlak, Steve Jennings, Larry Pawlak, Derek Reynolds, David Reynolds, and Kenneth Swain.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, November 19, 2014, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
