FetchYoursNews Visits Mountain Area Christian Academy for 3rd Grade Writing Challenge

Mountain Area Christian Academy participated in the FetchYourNews 3rd grade writing challenge. The winners for the writing challenge were Peyton Nelson and Olivia Temples.

These children received prizes from local sponsors and the entire class was provided plenty of pencils and an ice cream cone each for their participation. The question for this round of competitions was, “How to cook a turkey.” The children were excited and it was clear that many had put a lot of time and effort into their essays. FYN’s was impressed with them all! CEO, Brian K. Pritchard spoke to the children regarding reading, writing and the importance of internet safety.
