Fannin County High School held a blood drive on Monday, November 10. FCHS HOSA members coordinated the drive, signing up donors and educating students on what blood donation is all about.HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) advisor, Ms. Anne Soriero, and members were very pleased with the drive and the willingness of the donors to share this life saving gift. Tim Wilson, donor recruiter for Blood Assurance calls the efforts of FCHS “incredible” with 113 donors registered, 20 donors deferred and 101 units of blood collected. 66 first time donors were also registered. Tim states,

“The efforts of Fannin County High School have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.”
