Pamela Nevins McKay, age 71, passed away on November 5, 2014. She was born with an identical twin sister Patricia to Richard and Eva Nevins of Bath Maine. They were raised in Rhode Island. Pam was married to the love of her life Lud McKay for 45 years. They enjoyed an adventure in the Navy, Pam moving the family 17 times. She was an accomplished water colorist and achieved her dream of silver life master in bridge.
Pam is survived by devoted husband Ludwell Howard McKay, son John and wife (Terry), son Rick and wife (Molly), daughter Melissa Bode, eight grandchildren and a great grandson.
Celebrations of life will be held in Lutz, FL and Bardstown, KY. In lieu of flowers, family ask for donations to the Audubon Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
