Mr. Larry Ray Adams, age 54, of McCaysville, GA passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.Mr. Adams was born on March 5, 1960 in Polk County, TN to the late Ralph Max Adams and Annie Rose Griffith Adams. He worked for Action Auto Salvage in Peachtree, NC as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of Higher Ground Praise and Worship Center in Blue Ridge, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Crowder Adams of McCaysville, GA; aunts and uncles, Jan and James Kaylor of McCaysville, Evelyn and Ed Jefferies of Knoxville, TN, and Ken and Kate Adams of Maryville, TN; and nieces and nephews, Dennis Patterson, Gary Patterson, William Patterson, Noel Buchanan, Jonathan Crowder, Kristi Sloan, Kaiden Crowder, Kaieda Bell, Elijah Crowder, Josey Kay Sloan, and Reece Patterson.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Harold Crowder and Rev. Jonathan Crowder officiating. Music will be by The Crowder Family. Pallbearers will be Noel Buchanan, Dennis Patterson, William Patterson, Heath Cheatham, Cory Mobley, and Cliff Graham. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Burrell, Bret Laney, Chris Monkus, Gayge Guy, Kaisen Crowder , Kelly Sloan, Gary Patterson, and Tyler Gibson. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
