Mr. Charles Bailey, age 72 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home following a period of declining health.Charles was born April 12, 1942 to the late Edgar Bailey and the late Flora Marie Dye Bailey. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed riding and working with his horses. He spent a lot of his time building things and doing wood working projects. He was preceded in death by sister, Doris Shields.
Survivors include: wife, Wanda Bailey, sons, Charles Michael (Archelle) Bailey, Shawn (Valerie) Bailey and James (Mikki) Bailey, daughter, Alicia (Chad) Mabel, brother, Glenn (Tinker) Bailey, sisters, Edna Bailey, Linda Morgan, Donna Hawkins, and Wanda Prince, grandchildren, Joshua, Clark and Justin Bailey, Ashley and Greg Dyer, Gavin, Cheyenne and Hailey Bailey, Brady and Melyda Bailey, Jacob Born and Savannah Mable, great grandchildren, Zaylen Clark and Ryleigh (Cooper) Herring.
Funeral services: Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the New Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Doyle Davis and Rev. Danny Collis officiating. Music provided by Kenny O’neal, John Newton and Breanne Kaylor. Interment will follow in Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Harold Garland, Ethridge Ware, Charles Bailey, Craig Flowers, Jim Denslow and Rick Goodall. .
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, November 7, 2014, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturday, November 8, 2014, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
