Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces services for Patricia Hartness, age 68, of Blairsville, who passed away Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014, in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Pat was born in Cleveland, Georgia, on September 27, 1946, a daughter of the late George Tom McGuire and the late Eileen Young McGuire. She worked for many years as a Parapro with the Union County School System. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her family: husband Rob, of Blairsville; daughters, Lisa Mason, of Cleveland, Georgia; daughter, Leslie Jones, of Blairsville, and son, Branden Hartness, of Blairsville; sister, Yvonne Rogers, of Gainesville, Georgia, and brother, Hoyt Young, of Blytheville, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Johnathan Hampton, Dustin Jones, Tylan Jones, Dalton Hollis, and Kiley Hartness; and a great granddaughter, Madison Schandera.
Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26, 2014, starting at 1 p.m., and last until 3 pm. Funeral services will start at 3:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville.
